Abstract

Since its founding in 1889, Hongkong Land has built its business on the principles of excellence, integrity and partnership - creating long-term values for cities and communities across Asia.

Hongkong Land work on sustainability in much the same way, working with partners and stakeholders on sustained investments and programmes that create value over the long-term. Their Sustainability strategy focuses on four key spotlights:

In this presentation, Andy Yeung will walk through each of the spotlights, achievements Hongkong Land has made so far and the Science-based targets that they have set as they look to the future.

Biography

Andy is Director and Head of Technical Services of Hongkong Land. He joined Hongkong Land in 2010 and is responsible for Technical Services Management and Green Building Management for the company. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and later on obtained a Master Degree in Environmental Management.

Andy started his career in the Engineering field focusing on Project Management and Engineering design covering building services engineering, mechanical and plant engineering, and risk management. After completion of a few major renovation projects in the property sector, Andy has continued his career in the field of Property Management focusing on technical services and sustainability.

He is a Chartered Engineer with more than 30-years experiences in project management, technical services, energy management, sustainability management, and green building management through his work in a number of key property companies. .
